![]() ![]() Its gameplay didn't satisfy the tremulous-originated communities (Australian community was basically forced to migrate over because the 1.1 server was shut down to encourage trying out the new game) which did work successfully for about half a year before being abandoned, half of them due to lack of compatibility with old computers (but the devs thought it was an insignificant portion because no one was reporting the problems) and gameplay wasn't changed because supposidly the one guy that does the balancing still tihnks the gameplay is good. But if you're referring to Unvanquished, then yes, kinda. The entire list of servers are forks technically. has cut the community down but the population drop-off was pretty flat between 20. The recent moving of the community split between europe and U.S. 1.1 is the most popular game mode with an average of something like 12-15 players at any given time of the day. Most of the mainstream vanilla-ish servers are multi-protocol though so they will also show up in the GPP server listings and are also accessible, even if they aren't technically GPP (1.1 servers, and two, protocol 71 servers). No one has ever visited that server from what I know. Yes, there is one dedicated GPP (protocol 70) server called meow (unlimited bp). Also works for Unvanquished, but because it has not been updated since 2013, does not support protocol 71 (but GH's multiprotocol client is well, multiprotocol, so it shouldn't matter either way). Unfortunately unlike other niche games, Tremulous' community has been fairly split and consequently PUG bots are insufficient. Since then it's been getting harder to find games.
